Confession #1

I secretly ate all the ice cream because my brother's coming home tomorrow. 

Now I won't be disappointed when he starts to wipe out the fridge.
I'm ahead of the game.

How did I spend my Friday & Saturday nights this weekend?

Yup, watching these studs :)

BYU swept UCI in 3 straight sets Friday & nearly give us a heart attack in 5 Saturday.

Thankfully they pulled it off!

Beat UCI Friday? Check.

Beat UCI Saturday? Check.

And this guy? Well he has the cutest grandma.

Her husband sat in front of us recording the game when she came and sat with him the last 5 min.

Lo and behold, that stud pictured above serves up an ace and the Cougars win!

Cue the start of cheering (screaming), clapping (what the, fist pumping?) & jumping.

Next thing I know, Sander's grandma turns around, grabs my waist & squeezes me tight!

Such a cute lady. I mean...her grandson did just end the game with an ace.

All in all? Good wins for BYU against the number one ranked UCI.

And that, is how they roll.

....I Love To See The Temple

While my sister was busy with Stake Youth Committee last Sunday,

I was busy admiring the beauty of this temple.

I was walking down the hall toward the Primary room when I passed Brandon in the hall.

He looked at me and threw up a peace sign saying, "Payce!"

"Oh, peace!" as I put up a peace sign in return.

"No. It's PAAAAYYYCE!"

Well, I stand corrected!

Yes- it IS the same boy from my previous post haha.

After Primary yesterday, we had a little 'meet and greet' with the parents.

They said we were going to have a little "party" after the meeting with cookies and more.
5 year old Brandon turned to me with wide eyes and blurted out excitedly:

"We're having a party?! Party rock rock rock! I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT!"

I just about died.

....Hmmm

A friend of mine shared this quote a while back:

On Sunday one of my new primary kids asked if I had any resolutions.

Um nope...haven't really given it any thought.

But I guess I have now.

Don't expect the typical hit the gym resolutions.

1. Find 3 reasons to smile every day.

2. Do something (or many things) daring & exhilarating.

3. Be happy.

Not much, but it's good enough for me.

I know....it's a little late, but what the hey.

At pretty much the last minute, we took off to visit family in Vegas. 

One in the morning Christmas Eve & I was throwing random clothes into a duffle bag.

By seven we were on the road!

Good food, good company & great laughs.

Family time is always a good time!
